Brett Lion Weaver

A fifth-generation San Diegan, Brett Weaver has over a decade of experience managing and operating multifamily properties across Southern California. As a second-generation principal at Weaver & Company Investments, he has overseen a 20+ property portfolio, handling renovations, budgeting, partner buyouts, and long-term planning.

Brett’s roots in San Diego run deep—his grandfather, Dr. Arthur Austin, was a well-known dentist in Bankers Hill who restored the historic Timken House, where Weaver & Company is still headquartered. His great-great-grandfather, DeGraff Austin, served as a respected County Supervisor. This legacy of local stewardship shapes Brett’s long-term, value-driven approach to real estate.

After graduating from UC San Diego, Brett worked in biotech while helping manage the family business. In 2015, he joined full time under the mentorship of his father, H. Duane Weaver—a seasoned investor, broker, and court-appointed receiver known for his work with value-add and distressed properties.

Now affiliated with South Coast Commercial, Brett specializes in asset management, financial analysis, and local market strategy—helping clients buy, sell, and grow multifamily investments across San Diego and Los Angeles.
