Leah Gordon, a San Diego Native, graduated in 2017 with a BS in Accounting after achieving an AS in Business and AA in Social Behavior. She is continuing her education by studying Real Estate and Architectural Drafting in her free time.
At South Coast Commercial, her role as Staff Accountant has been one of many key factors for collecting maximum rental incomes to owners especially during COVID hardships. Her research on COVID Assistance legislation has provided over $100,000 in rental assistance to tenants who fell behind on rent, and she is pursuing an additional $100,000 in rental loss assistants to owners whose tenants were displaced or broke the lease due to COVID hardships. Internally, her goal with the company is to implement a Go Green – paperless method by utilizing new technology and internal procedures to enhance the accounting and property management tasks. This has added benefits for owners, who will receive a bi-monthly update on their user-friendly portal to view financial packets in just a few clicks of the mouse.
Leah played softball for over 20 years as a catcher and received a full scholarship to a four year college. Her hobbies include softball, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and Pilates.
